Richard John Alexander Talbert, né le , est un historien et classiciste contemporain américano-britannique, professeur d'histoire ancienne et classique à l'Université de Caroline du Nord à Chapel Hill.
Talbert est un spécialiste renommé de la géographie ancienne et de l'idée d'espace dans le monde méditerranéen antique.
Biographie
Richard Talbert a fait ses études à la King's School, à Canterbury et au Corpus Christi College, à Cambridge, où il a obtenu le Double First Class Honours in Classics (1968), suivi d'un doctorat (1972).
